Option 1: Hand wash
Place the cup in the sterilizer, add water and soap, shake, and hold the lid in place with your finger. Then rinse the cup, and it's ready to use again.
Option 2: Microwave
Fill the sterilizer with a little water and place the cup inside. Put the lid on, but not completely, as the sterilizer needs to be left half open to allow steam to escape. Heat in the microwave for 3–5 minutes.
